Patriots Day Freedom Fest, a conservative event in northern Kentucky featuring Kid Rock and other speakers, has been canceled days before it was scheduled to take place. Organizer Eric Deters said only six $1,000 VIP tickets had been sold, and he announced he would not bring the festival back. Deters later pushed back on suggestions that overall attendance was the issue, saying the free event had drawn large crowds in previous years.
