The Yellowstone universe is getting even bigger. Paramount has officially renewed Dutton Ranch for a second season after the show's massive debut earlier this year. The series follows fan-favorite couple Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, played by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, as they leave Montana and the Yellowstone behind for a fresh start in South Texas. Their new life quickly becomes complicated when they find themselves at odds with rival ranch owner Beluah Jackson, played by Annette Bening. Season 1 premiered in May and became an instant hit, drawing 12.9 million views during its first week and setting a new record as the biggest original series launch in Paramount history. To announce the renewal, Paramount released a teaser carrying the message: "Peace will have to wait," hinting that more conflict is on the way for Beth and Rip.
