In a new interview, Kudrow said she, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and the late Matthew Perry each continue to make around $20 million a year in residuals from global syndication, even 20 years after the finale. The cast famously negotiated their contracts together, going from $22,500 per episode in Season 1 to $1 million per episode by the end — and even pocketed $2.5 million each for the 2021 HBO Max reunion. But Kudrow says the real money comes from the show’s worldwide reruns, which remain a massive revenue machine.
