Ted Lasso is back for another season. Apple TV has released the first trailer for Season 4, which premieres August 5. This time, Ted, played by Jason Sudeikis, takes on a brand-new challenge: coaching a second-division women's soccer team. Returning cast members include Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift, with several new faces joining the ensemble. The show's return is a bit of a surprise. Ted Lasso was originally conceived as a three-season story, and many believed Season 3 would be the end. But after becoming one of Apple TV's biggest hits—amassing more than 25 billion minutes of viewing and winning 13 Emmy Awards—the series earned a fourth season.
