Billy Bob Thornton is once again saying celebrities should stay out of politics. In a new chat with Howie Mandel, the actor said actors and musicians shouldn’t use award shows or their platforms to tell people how to vote, calling it pointless and out of touch. Thornton, who describes himself as a “radical moderate,” said he’d rather talk about being human than push political beliefs he doesn’t feel qualified to preach. He also repeated his stance that award shows should follow Ricky Gervais’ famous advice: accept your trophy and move on.
