Fans at Mumford & Sons' Madison Square Garden concert got an unexpected treat when Jason Sudeikis made a surprise appearance. The Ted Lasso star joined the band onstage to perform the show's theme song, which frontman Marcus Mumford co-wrote. After spotting Sudeikis in the crowd, the cameras followed him as he ran to the stage, sang with the band, shared a hug with Mumford, and exited to loud cheers. The cameo came just days after the premiere of Ted Lasso's fourth season on Apple TV . Later in the concert, Mumford joked with the audience that if they didn't quiet down, he'd "stick Ted on you."
