Paramount has released the official trailer for the upcoming Frasier revival — with Kelsey Grammer reprising his role as the titular shrink. Per the official description, “the new series follows Frasier Crane (Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building!” The revival premieres Thursday, Oct. 12 on Paramount , with a special airing on CBS on Tuesday, Oct. 17 — a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the revival, entitled Frasier: Inside the Series, will debut on Friday, Oct. 6 on Paramount .
