Regan Hutsell of Texas is the new Miss America 2027. Hutsell was crowned Sunday night in West Palm Beach, Florida, beating out delegates from all 50 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She becomes the 99th woman to wear the Miss America crown and will also receive scholarship money as part of her prize. Miss Louisiana Shelby Bordelon finished as first runner-up, while Miss Illinois Kate Dimmett took second runner-up. Hutsell received the crown from outgoing Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan, who spent the past year traveling the country for appearances, charity work and singing performances—including the national anthem at the Daytona 500.
