Finn Wolfhard is gearing up for a big summer. The Stranger Things star and indie rock musician has announced his second solo album, Fire From The Hip, arriving July 10. It follows his 2025 debut Happy Birthday, which he toured across the U.S., U.K., and Europe. The new record — led by the single “I’ll Let You Finish” — pushes his indie rock sound into a more dynamic, expansive direction. Wolfhard recorded the album in February, exploring themes of cultural memory, humor, and reflection, while drawing inspiration from classic rock staples like The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street and Beggars Banquet. He says this project leans deeper into nostalgia and collaboration, crediting close friends for helping shape the music. Wolfhard, who previously fronted Calpurnia and later The Aubreys, has long cited The Beatles as the spark that ignited both his music and acting ambitions. That influence came full circle at the end of 2025 when he directed the first ever official music video for George Harrison’s “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth).” The stop motion project involved 20 Canadian artists and stands as one of Wolfhard’s proudest career moments.
