One of Michael Jackson’s most famous rhinestone gloves — the single white glove that became a pop?culture icon — is hitting the auction block, with bidding starting at $50,000. The glove, believed to date back to around 1984 and possibly worn onstage, is being offered by Nate D. Sanders Auctions, with bidding open until April 30. It comes with extensive documentation tying it directly to Jackson, including handwritten notes and a signed declaration from artist Paul Bedard, who received the glove as a gift during the Thriller era. The glove shows light wear from its heyday but remains in “very good condition.” Jackson famously wore just one glove, later telling Barbara Walters he chose the look simply because it was “cooler than two.”
