Adam Sandler, Jared Leto & Mario Lopez Have Reportedly Declined Invites To Attend UFC White House Event

According to reports, the UFC is having difficulty attracting celebrity guests for its upcoming fight card on the White House lawn on June 14. The event, organized by UFC CEO Dana White, is expected to host about 4,300 attendees, including more than 1,200 active-duty military members. Reports say invitations were sent to celebrities such as Dwayne Johnson, Adam Sandler, Jared Leto, Tom Brady, Jason Statham, Mario Lopez, and others. However, reports indicate that several invitees, including Johnson, Sandler, Leto, and Lopez, have declined to attend. Representatives for some of the other invited celebrities did not comment. The reported lack of celebrity interest comes amid concerns that public figures may face criticism for participating in politically connected events, particularly after backlash surrounding performances at recent America 250 celebrations.
