Gary Oldman may have just shaken up the James Bond rumor mill. The actor says the next 007 has apparently already been chosen, even though Amazon MGM Studios hasn't made an official announcement. Oldman made the comments while promoting Slow Horses, where he stars alongside Scottish actor Jack Lowden — and Oldman made it clear he's rooting for his co-star. Lowden has been rumored to be on the shortlist for the coveted role, and Oldman said his “fingers are crossed” for him. But then Oldman added that a choice has already been made and fans should find out soon. The big question is whether Oldman accidentally revealed that Lowden himself is the new James Bond, or whether he simply meant the studio has selected someone and is keeping the name under wraps for now.
