CCSO Warrant Unit and U.S. Marshals task Force Seek Fugitive Wanted in Armed Carjacking

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, is actively seeking the whereabouts of David Thomas Alston, age 21, of Indian Head, MD. Alston is wanted in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred in May of this year. 

 

A warrant for his arrest was issued on July 24 charging him with armed carjacking, first-degree assault, armed robbery, use of a firearm in a violent crime, and other related charges. Alston is 5’10” and weighs approximately 145 pounds. He may have changed his appearance by changing his hairstyle. Alston is known to frequent areas within Charles County, Maryland; Prince George’s County, Maryland; and Southeast Washington, D.C.
