PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – Sept. 25, 2026 – The Calvert County Department of Public Works announces repaving work will begin Monday, Sept. 28, on Farren Avenue in Solomons during regular business hours.

Alternating lanes of Farren Avenue will be closed during the milling and repaving work. Construction is expected to be completed by Tuesday, Sept. 29, weather permitting.
