Join the fun packed event featuring live music from No Green Jelly Beenz, Broadcast, and Jukebox Thieves. While waiting for the show enjoy carnival rides and games beginning at 5 p.m.. Chesapeake Beach Fireworks
Tuesday, July 3 at Dusk
This annual event in front of the Rod-n-Reel is the largest fireworks show on the bay. The event features music, food and games. Plan your trip. Most people begin to assemble starting at 5 p.m. and parking is limited. For more information call (410) 257-2230 or visit the town Web site.

Solomons Fireworks
Wednesday, July 4 at 9 p.m.
Enjoy the Solomons Business Associations’ annual Solomons fireworks display on Wed., July 4 with rain date of July 5 in the event of inclement weather. The show should start around 9 p.m. on either date. This annual display is located on a barge in the Patuxent River and can be viewed most of the surrounding area. Parking for the annual event is limited and restricted to specific parking areas only: Glascock field by the Marine Museum, public lots behind Our Lady Star of the Sea school and the Medical Center. Some fees may apply. Shuttle buses are available for a minimum fee as well.  Get more information on their website.

Town of Indian Head 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks
Wed., July 4 at the Village Green and Pavilion
Come early to enjoy everything beginning at 3:30 p.m. with a fun and patriotic opening Ceremony then from 4 to 8 p.m. enjoy amusements, rides, music from DJ Rockin’ Roger and the Roadhouse band, and games. Load up on some great food until at approximately 9 p.m. the fireworks show will start. Come early; ticket sales stop at 7:15 p.m. For more information visit the Town of Indian Head’s Web site. 

Celebrate Charles – A Fun Filled Fourth
Wednesday, July 4 starting at 4:30 p.m.
At Regency Furniture Stadium,  local restaurants and caterers will provide a ‘Taste of Charles County’ where those in attendance will enjoy samples of some great freshly prepared food. Enjoy live music by John Luskey, Three Sixty and Scott’s New Band. There will be an area set aside with amusements, face painting, caricatures, and more. Enjoy a car show and a spectacular fireworks show.

National Mall 4th of July Fireworks

On the Mall: Washington D.C. at dark.

Public access to the National Mall begins at 10 a.m. with all visitors required to enter via a security checkpoint. Rain Date July 5th

St. Mary’s College River Concert Series
Friday, July 6 on College Drive, St. Mary’s City
This annual event will entertain prior to the fireworks show with jazz vocalist Hilary Kole. During the show, attendees will enjoy the fireworks listening to the music of John Phillip Sousa. For more information visit the River Concert Series Web site.
